Candidate Form

Use the Form Below to Attend an Upcoming Weekend

Instructions

  1. Complete all sections of the form below, if a section does not apply to you enter N/A.  Be sure to include food restrictions, allergies, mobility issues, or other considerations that may impact your ability to fully enjoy the Weekend.  

  2. Due to weekend room assignments, and candidate food restrictions, it is encouraged that all Candidate Forms are received one week prior to the start of the prospective weekend.

  3. A Cursillo Weekend costs $300 per person. This covers meals, lodging, retreat center fees, and all materials.  You may pay for your Weekend at the time of application, or no later than the first day of the Weekend.

    • If you would like to pay for your weekend via PayPal, please use the Donate page.

      • ​In the comment field please annotate weekend and name of the team member or candidate.

        • Example: "Women’s 152nd Weekend/Candidate Fee: $300"

    • If you chose to pay via check or cash you may bring it with you to the first night of the Weekend.  Checks may also be mailed to Arlington Diocese Cursillo PO Box 50447 Arlington, VA 22205. Include "candidate fee" in the notes section of the check. 

    • If you need assistance paying or have questions regarding the cost of the Weekend, please contact the Lay Director (laydirector@arlingtoncursillo.org) for scholarship information.

  4. If you are unable to complete the online form below, open the fillable application PDF.  Save or print as needed and email to laydirector@arlingtoncursillo.org. 

  5. All candidates must have a Sponsor.  This person is already a part of the Cursillo community and will support you before, during, and after the Weekend.  If you don't have a Sponsor indicate so in your Candidate Form. 

  6. Once your Candidate Form is received, a member of the PreCursillo committee will contact you. 

 

​Arlington Diocese Cursillo does not like to turn away any potential candidate due to the cost of the weekend.  Scholarships or payment plans are available upon a case to case basis. If you need assistance to pay for a Cursillo Weekend, please email the Arlington Diocese Lay Director.​
