He only is my rock and my salvation, my stronghold; I shall not be disturbed at all.” Psalm 62:1-3 As the women, and man, chosen to be team, continue their preparation to be living proof, a communal witness of the love of God and the love of neighbor, to those who will be sent to the weekend experience, your prayers and your sacrifices are invited. Your palanca, your prayers, sacrifices and works of mercy, give witness to the solidarity of the members of the Church. Those chosen to proclaim the good news by their living experience to the women are:

Candidates
The weekend begins on October 11, 2007 at the Village of Mt. Zion. Directions to Mt. Zion. Sponsors are requested to have their candidates at Mt. Zion at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 11. The earlier time will allow sponsors time to return home at an earlier hour. In addition to ensuring the candidates have all necessary belongings for the weekend, food and beverages for the team and candidates to have between meals are especially welcomed – Yes, “running” to the store is not a quick trip. Arrangements for palanca should be made with team members or sponsors traveling to Mt. Zion on Thursday. Mananita at Mt. Zion is at 7:00 AM, Sunday, October 14. Look for directional markers to guide the way and to mark the parking areas. The closing will include a Mass in the Church and will begin at 3:30 PM. A reception will be held after Mass. Please bring substantial food, rather than snack foods, to share for the reception. At the closing of the reception, community assistance to clean and straighten the retreat center is needed, please help so that everyone will have left Mt. Zion by 6:00 PM. |
