- Evening of Reflection
We have nearly finished with two very significant liturgical seasons – Lent and Easter. We will soon celebrate the birthday of our Church on Pentecost Sunday. Then we go into “Ordinary Time” – somewhat similar to entering into our Fourth Day.
Please join the members of our community as we celebrate an Evening of Reflection on Friday, May 25, at 7:30 at Missionhurst. Our theme will be “Ordinary Time”, and we will offer several reflections on what that means for our spiritual journey.
Bring your family and friends – those who have made a weekend and those who have not. All are welcome. A reception will follow. If you chose to bring light snacks and drink, that will be a blessing for all.
Prayer Requests
marriage repair 5-16-12
I am seeking marriage repairs. Please pray with me. I do love my husband and do not want a divorce. Dear Lord, I pray that you open his heart back to our marriage and his family. Let us rekindle our love and affection for one another deeper than ever before. Dear Lord, I pray that you lead me to help him show him how great YOU reall are! Please keep him and his buddies safe as he deploys in July. Let him feel, seek and understand my unconditional love for him. Dear Lord, I ask for your forgiveness for letting you, nathan, and my family down. Please give me another chance to be a strong Christian wife and mother. Please bless our family and marriage. I give this to you God! In Jesus name I pray…amen!

Prayers for Mimi/Help with Cook Crew
Cursillo friends, please offer prayers for Mimi Fitzgerald, our former

Please contact Carol Poplin (ten.nozirevnull@2nilpop.lorac or gro.hcruhcselrahctsnull@nilpopc) if you can help with meals for Mimi. In addition, the cook crew for the men’s Weekend will be light due to Mimi’s absence and Jack Finnerty being on team. Please also consider offering palanca by assisting at a meal.

Praise that things are healing between two sisters, and ongoing prayers as they reconcile.

Prayers for Tom Copeland
Prayers for Tom Copeland who returned home yesterday from the Hospital after having a major back operation. He was originally expected to be released Tuesday, but because he was in excruciating pain, he was not released until Wednesday. Due to his high level of pain, he requests calls and visits not be made until he feels better. Please keep Tom in your prayers for a steady recovery as well as Rae for her continued progress. May the blessed Mother’s mantle surround them with love.
